Donald "Fireball" Mayle Obituary

Donald "Fireball" Lee Mayle, 79 of Salem passed away on Monday, April 15, 2024 at his residence. He was born September 25, 1944 in West Union, the son of the late Wallace and Genevieve Audrey Starkey Mayle.

Donald was a professional glass worker for Judel Glass in Salem and loved working with his kids at D&T Auction. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on small engines, getting ready and working the auctions. His family was his life.

Donald is survived by his wife of fifty seven years, Audra May Sellers Mayle; two children, David Wayne Mayle and companion Tera Cunningham, Salem, Tammy Lea Truax and husband, Harry, Salem; two grandchildren, Joshua Truax and Brittany Truax; three great grandchildren, Briley, Rylan, and Gunner; two brothers, Larry Mayle and Sandy, Wilbur Mayle and Kathy; sister-in-law, Linda Pitt; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by his five brothers, Darrell, Gary, Ray, Kenneth and Carol Mayle; four sisters, Dorthalee Mayle, Gay Patton, Corlene Sutton, and Carolyn Richards.
