Dennis Edward Webb

Dennis Edward Webb, 62 of Salem passed away on Friday, November 15, 2019 at Salem Center. He was born July 1, 1957 in Clarksburg, WV; the son of Doran E Webb of Wolf Summit and the late Ruby Lee Riggs Webb.

Dennis worked for the WV Department of Highways for thirty seven years as a heavy equipment operator.  He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, riding 4-wheelers and spending time with his family.

In addition to his father, Dennis is survived by his wife of forty three years, Tonya Kay Davis Webb; two daughters, Shari Kay Webb and finance, Adam L Harris, Virginia Beach, VA, Brittany Nacole Webb Cain, Salem; three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Aden and Riley; two brothers, David L Webb and Betty, Salem, Michael Webb and Rexanne, Lost Creek; one sister, Rebecca Webb and Mike, Salem; step sisters, Susie Pumphrey Jacobs and Vance Underwood, West Union, Wilma Pumphrey Swisher and Jimmy Carder, Clarksburg; step brother, Bobby Pumphrey and Linda, Salem; mother-in-law, Martha Posey Davis, Salem; three brother-in-laws, Michael M Davis and Michalle, Weirton, Grover “Butch”  Davis Jr and Beverly, Salem, John L Davis, Salem.

In addition to his mother, Dennis was preceded in death by his stepmother, Isabella Pumphrey; father-in-law, Grover M Davis Sr.

Family will receive friends at Greathouse Funeral Home, 1999 W. Main Street, Salem, on Thursday, November 21, 2019 from 2-8 pm and Friday, November 22, 2019 from 9 am until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 am with Pastor Jerry Lewis presiding. Interment will follow at Salem I.O.O. F. Cemetery.
