James Woodrow Leonard, 42 of Salem passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2019. James was born on April 8, 1977 in Clarksburg, son of the late Nancy Lee Davis and Jack Lewis Leonard and companion Linda Crislip of Bristol. James last worked in the oil and gas field for Nabors as a laborer. His hobbies were riding motorcycles, tinkering with metal and could make and fix anything. He collected little cars and enjoyed hunting. He is survived by his three children, James J Leonard and fiancée Tess, Jacklin L Leonard and fiancé Jordan, and Walker S Leonard all of Clarksburg; two brothers, Jackie Leonard and partner Jeremiah Jones of Clarksburg, John Leonard and wife Mary of Salem; several aunts, uncles and cousins. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to his Funeral Care Fund on his memorial website page.
