James "Jimmy" "6Pack" Reed Obituary

James “Jimmy” “6Pack” Claude Reed, 58 of Salem passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at his residence with family by his side. He was born November 18, 1961 in Clarksburg, WV; the son of the late Roy Wilber and Mildred Virginia Gaskins Reed.

James attended Doddridge County High School. He worked for Nicholson’s for twenty seven years and last worked for Preston Contracting. He collected RC cars and enjoyed riding his Side by Side.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Helen Christina Harper Reed; two sons, Mark Reed, and Timmy Reed and Endris all of Salem; one granddaughter, Tristian; siblings, Linda Jean McKinney, West Union, Garnett Lee Maze and Thomas, Paducah, KY, Donald F Reed, Salem, and Reita W Harper and Bobby, Salem; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Roger Reed.
