Joseph “Chad” Furner, 37 of Salem passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2019. He was born November 25, 1981 in Clarksburg; the son of Joseph E James Jr. of Salem and the late Sharon Marie Furner

Chad enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was a construction worker and a good handyman and was willing to help anyone.

In addition to his father, Chad is survived by one son, Joseph Hunter Casinelli Furner; one daughter, Jordan Montgomery; two brothers, Jody James and Jacob “Jake” Furner both of Salem; one sister, Brandy Lovera and husband Chris of Cody WY; nieces and nephews, Joseph Lee James, Hayden Joel Davis, Nicolas Lovera, Matthew Lovera, Paul Lovera, and Catherine Lovera; several aunts and uncles, Sandy Furner and husband Jimmy, Clarksburg, Marlin Ballou, Ed Jandreau both of Daytona Beach, FL; special cousin, Vikki Green and several additional cousins.

In addition to his mother, Chad is preceded in death by one brother, Toby Furner
