Nancy Lee Davis

Nancy Lee Davis, 63 of Salem went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. Nancy was born on April 3, 1956 in Clarksburg, daughter of the late George W Pete and Margaret Louise Bland Davis. Nancy had been married three times, first to Jack Leonard, the father of her three boys, second to Keith Mayle and lastly to Clyde Hendershot who she remained friends with.  She is survived by her three sons, Jackie Leonard and partner Jeremiah Jones of Clarksburg, John Leonard and wife Mary of Salem, James Leonard of Jarvisville; one step daughter, Amanda Ross and fiancé, Andrew Morris of Clarksburg, ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren and one on the way; she also leaves behind, three brothers, George W Davis Jr of Clarksburg, Michael Davis of Salem who she made her home with for the past ten years, James Davis and husband Joe of Stonewood; one sister, Sheila Davis of Clarksburg, one half sister, Virginia Bland and husband William of Salem, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one half-brother, Howard Davis, one half-sister, Shirley Potts and one nephew, Michael Potts. Nancy attended the Open Door Tabernacle in Salem. Her hobbies were, doing crossword puzzles, crocheting, gardening, and watching TV, especially westerns. Family will receive friends at Greathouse Funeral Home, 1999 W. Main Street, Salem, on Friday, August 16, 2019 from 3-8PM and on Saturday, August 17, 2019 from 10:00AM until time of Funeral Service at 12:00Noon with Pastor George Murphy and Pastor Randy Plaugher officiating. Interment will follow at Big Isaac Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to her Funeral Care Fund on her memorial website.
