Ada Moses Obituary

Ada Blanche Moses, 91, of Salem passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at United Hospital Center. She was born August 28, 1931 in Clarksburg, daughter of the late Homer and Lillie Thelma Fury Gains.

Ada graduated from Salem High School and was a homemaker.

She is survived by many friends and neighbors and her close friends, Don and Charlotte Henry; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ada was preceded in death by her husband James Moses; one son Edward “ED” Lynn Hammond; six siblings, Margaret Williams, Betty Moore, Samuel Clifford Gains, Charles Gains, Harry Lee Gains, and Billy Don Gains.

A Private Graveside Service was held at Salem I.O.O.F Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.DavisFuneralHomeSalemWV.com. Davis Funeral Home Salem is honored to serve the Moses family.
