Ann Hyde 79 of Salem departed this life on Thursday March 5, 2015 in the United Hospital Center, Bridgeport. She was born on May 30, 1935 on Big Battle (Doddridge County) a daughter of the late Enoch S. and Doris May Ford Hyde. In 1952 she married Walter Jackson Hyde who preceded her in death in 1999.
Surviving is two sons, Eddy J. Hyde and wife Rebecca Ann, Salem, Walter F. Hyde and wife Diane, Pulaski, TN, nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren one sister, Deloris Gay Gaskins, Salem, two brothers, John L. Hyde, Elkton, KY, William J. Hyde, West Union, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Anna Louise Buck, two brothers, Enoch Stephen Hyde and Leon Guy Hyde, three sisters, Lorena Mae Carson, Maxidena I. Greathouse and Lula Bell Moore.
Mrs. Hyde had been a care-giver for many years. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Tennessee and was Baptist by faith. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Harbert Funeral Home 287 W. Main St. Salem on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at 11:00AM with Pastor Frank Carson officiating. Interment will follow in the Christian Church Cemetery, Center Point. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Monday, March 9, 2015 from 2-8PM.
