Audie Glenn Currey

Audie Glenn Currey, 60, of Salem passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. He was born June 3, 1962 in Clarksburg, son of the late Joseph Emerson and Eulah Mae Swiger Currey.

Audie graduated from Doddridge County High School, Class of 1980. He enjoyed woodworking, camping, being outdoors and spending time with his family.  He was a member of the Tomahawk Brotherhood.   

Audie is survived by his wife Doreen D O’Dell Currey whom he married on June 10, 2006; two children, Jonathan Paul Currey, Salem, Amberly Dawn Taylor, West Union; two stepchildren, Rebecca Eldridge, Indiana, Dusty Gettle and Donna, Indiana; three grandchildren, Madison Mae, Cameron Hunter, and Asheton Dawn Taylor; three siblings, Geraldine Hiney, Josephine Lamp, Nathan Currey and Annette Wright; several nieces and nephews, and Rocky his beloved dog.

In addition to his parents, Audie is preceded in death by one brother, Steven D. Currey.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home - Salem, 1999 W. Main Street, Salem, on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 3-7PM and on Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 9:00AM until time of the Funeral Service at 11:00AM with Pastor Chad Ash officiating.
