Audra May (Sellers) Mayle

Audra May Sellers Mayle, 75, of Salem, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at United Hospital Center. She was born on November 15, 1950, in Salem, the daughter of the late Kenneth Delbert Sellers and Susan Luella Richards Sellers.

Audra attended Salem High School and dedicated much of her working life to caring for others. She began her career in food service at Americare in Salem before retiring after 30 years of faithful service with Genesis – Salem Center. Through her hard work, kind spirit, and friendly smile, she formed many lasting friendships over the years.

Audra found joy in life's simple treasures. She loved spending weekends exploring yard sales and flea markets, always searching for that special hidden gem. She especially enjoyed collecting clothes, shoes and purses, a hobby that brought her great happiness and reflected her fun-loving personality. Whether she was shopping with family or proudly showing off her latest find, those moments filled her with excitement. More than anything, Audra cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who were the greatest blessings in her life.

She is survived by her two children, David Wayne Mayle and his companion, Tera Cunningham, of Salem, and Tammy Lea Truax and her husband, Harry, of Salem; two grandchildren, Joshua Truax and Brittany Truax; three great-grandchildren, Briley, Rylan, and Gunner; one sister, Linda Kay Pitt of Bridgeport; and several nieces and nephews who will lovingly remember her.

In addition to her parents, Audra was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Donald Lee Mayle.

Private interment will be held at K of P Cemetery.
