Audra Maxine Riffle, 77, of Salem, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at her residence. Audra was born February 8, 1945 in Marshville, daughter of the late Cecil Mark Williams and Eva Merle Dennison Johnson. Audra was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was a full-time mother and homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Audra is survived by seven children, Tammy Winters, Nutter Fort, Sherrie Dodd, Nutter Fort, Charles “Ben” Collins Jr and wife Karla, Bristol, Daniel Collins and Nicole, Perry, GA, Matthew W “Matt” Collins and wife Beatrix, Duncan, SC, Christopher Collins, Salem, Laura Dalton and husband Kevin, Salem; nine grandchildren, Eva Owens, Sam Dodd, Mandee Puckett, Daniel “DJ” Collins Jr, Joshua Collins, Brittany Johnson, Jennifer Wohlscheid, Chase Dalton, Blake Dalton who was affectionally referred to as her boy; one brother, Frank Dennison, Bristol; several great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Audra was preceded in death by her husband Troy “Jim” Edward Riffle on August 14, 2005; three children, Wendy Sue Collins, Jody Lee Collins and Samuel Levi Collins; one granddaughter, Braelyn Osbourne; one great granddaughter, Abigale Collins; one brother, Charles Williams. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Davis Funeral Home Salem on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at 4:00PM with Pastor Dan Lipscomb officiating.
