Billy Joe Wyckoff, 86, of Salem passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 at Mount Carmel East Hospital, Columbus, OH. Billy was born May 5, 1938 in Smithfield, WV, Wetzel County, son of the late Glenn and Bonnie Ann Ensminger Wyckoff.
Billy was a field superintendent with Eureka Pipeline for thirty-four years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, woodworking and restoring old cars.
Billy is survived by his son, David Glenn Wyckoff and wife Linda, Salem; son-in-law, Walter Lewis Kelley, Salem; three grandchildren, Matthew Ryan Kelley and wife Heather, Salem; Kristin Renee Sleeth and husband Robert, Salem, Chelsey Clutter and husband Zach, Salem; fifteen great grandchildren, Hannah, Samuel, Silas, Sarah, Elijah, Amos, Delilah, Sapphira, Adah, Abigail, and Abraham Kelley, Daphne and Phebe Sleeth, Audrey and Caroline Clutter; siblings, George Wyckoff (Sandy), Smithburg, Ray Wyckoff (Nancy) Pine Grove, Gay Jones, Mannington, Sue Fravel, Mannington, Junior Wyckoff (Debbie) West Union; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Ruth Clark Wyckoff on August 31, 2024; by his daughter, Jean Ann Kelley on May 30, 2024; siblings, Keith Wyckoff and Alma Frye.
