Bonnie Kay (Griffin) Swiger

On Thursday May 11, 2023 Bonnie Kay Griffin Swiger gained her angel wings surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 14, 1958 daughter of Bobby Vance Griffin of Shirley, WV and the late Doris Mae Kinney Griffin. She married the love of her life, Lenard Swiger who preceded her in death. She is survived by two daughters, Mindy Matson and fiancé Joshua Bonner, Kelly Swiger Rolen and husband Josh. She was blessed with two granddaughters, Madison Bonnell and fiancé Justin Williams, Tiffani Bonnell and fiancé Gino Surock. A little apple of her eye’s grandson, Artemis Rolen. She has an amazing great granddaughter, Emersyn Williams and soon to be Gianna Surock. She has three sisters, Deb (Larry) Hennessy, Middlebourne, Barbara (Rodney) Wright, Big Flint, and Linda (Bill) Cavins, Big Flint; two brothers, Denver Griffin, Shirley, WV, Bobby (Darlene) Griffin, Beverly, OH; several nieces and nephews, Crystal (Charles) Price, Holly (Chip) Poole, Eric (Alicia) Wright, Bryant (Krista) Griffin, Dakota Griffin, Clyde Miller, and Nick Cavins; and so many extended family and friends. She knew no stranger. Bonnie was a warrior, who loved her family, friends and was WV proud. She kicked cancer’s Ass.  Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home - Salem, 1999 W. Main Street, Salem, on Sunday, May 14, 2023 from 1-5 pm and on Monday, May 15, 2023 from 9:00 am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 am with Ora Ash officiating.  Interment will follow at Center Point Cemetery.
