Bradley Steven Starkey

Bradley Steven Starkey 51 of Salem departed this life on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 on Long Run Salem. He was born on September 29, 1960 a son of Edna Sutton Starkey, Salem and the late Franklin Delano Roosevelt Starkey.

Surviving are one daughter, Crystal Ash, Salem, Bradley Starkey Jr. Clarksburg, six grandchildren, three sisters, Susan Counts, Sardis, Barbara America and husband, Junior and Brianna Richards both of Salem, three brothers, Franklin Frank Starkey Jr. and wife Judy, Pine Grove, Rex Starkey and wife Marilyn, Salem Eddie Starkey, Salem. One son, Gregory Starkey, one granddaughter, Faith Starkey, one brother, Jeffery Starkey preceded him in death.

Brad was a former employee of Easy Eddies Used Cars as a mechanic. He loved to dig ginseng, riding his motor cycle. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

At his request Brad will be cremated. A memorial service will be conducted in the Harbert Funeral Home 287 W. Main St. Salem on Friday, December 2, 2011 at 1:00 PM with Pastor John Freeman presiding. Interment will be in the Coplin Cemetery, Jarvisville.
