Brenda Sue (Underwood) Lattea

Brenda Sue Lattea, 58 of Salem passed away on Monday, September 30, 2019 at United Hospital Center. She was born July 4, 1961 at St Mary’s Hospital in Clarksburg; the daughter of the late Worthy Carson and Olive Faith Harbert Underwood.

Brenda graduated from Doddridge County High School, Class of 1979.  Her hobbies were playing bingo and cooking.  She loved spending time with her family.  She was a member of Victory Baptist Church. 

Brenda is survived by four sons, Paul R Underwood, Christopher A Lattea, Aaron W Lattea, Brandon M Lattea and Dana all of Salem; eleven grandchildren, Justice, Jayden, Juliana, A’Kaia, A’Leigha, Jeonah, Brenden, JoHannah, Daityn, Camden, Delaney; four siblings, Worthy C Underwood Jr and Pam, West Union, Roger L Underwood and Ella, Salem, Mary E Davis and David, Salem and Debbie Underwood and Rick Watson, Salem; special friend/sister, Phyllis Baxter Matheny, Baltimore, MD; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Andrew Lattea on November 28, 2003.

Family will receive friends at Greathouse Funeral Home, 1999 W. Main Street, Salem, on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 2-8pm; Funeral Service will be held at Greathouse Funeral Home on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 11:00am with Pastor Timothy Underwood presiding. Interment will follow at Wolverton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to her Funeral Care Fund on her memorial page.
