Carol "Susie" Hickman

Salem-Carol "Susie" Hickman, 71, of Cherry Camp Run Rd. departed this life on Thursday, June 4, 2015 in the Genesis Health Care Center. She was born on May 15, 1944 in Clarksburg a daughter of Late M. and Waveline Fox Hickman.

Surviving is one daughter Stephanie Swiger, Center Point, three grandsons, Jason, Aaron & Levi Swiger, one sister, Georgia Moran, Salem, two brothers, James Hickman Salem, Jennings Hickman, North Olmstead, OH, two nephews, Jamie Hickman , Donnie Hickman and wife Alyssa, two nieces, Melanie Chipps and Jennifer Southall.

Susie was a former employee of Harvey Industries and had retired from Judel Glass Co. as a laborer. She enjoyed gardening, her K-9 friend, "Chloe" and spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Harbert Funeral Home 287 W. Main St. Salem on Monday, June 8, 2015 at 1:00PM with Pastor Jon Hayes officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Cherry Camp Run Rd. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Sunday, June 7, 2015 from 4-8PM and after 9AM on Monday until time of service.
