Charles Isaacs, 72, of Lake Floyd community departed this life on Thursday, October 6, 2011. He was born on August 19, 1939 in Dean, KY, a son of the late Riley and Helen Dove Hall Isaacs. He is survived by his wife Jacquelyne Mason Isaacs.
Also surviving are one daughter, Terese Buckhannon, Burnsville, MD, one son, Scott Isaacs and wife Kay, Fairfax, VA, three grandchildren, Tiffany Ferrebee, Tara Strickland, Christopher Isaacs, one great grandson, Logan Ferrebee, one sister, Janice Baker, Whitesburg, KY, three brothers, Clester Isaacs, Dean, KY, Daniel Isaacs, OH, George Mikel Isaacs, Dean, KY and several nieces and nephews. One sister preceded him in death.
Mr. Isaacs was a crane operator working in construction for 50 years. He was a member of Local # 123 and a member of Salem Lodge # 86 AF & AM. Charles was a blessing to his friends and a best friend to those who loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the Harbert Funeral Home, 287 W. Main St., Salem on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 5:30PM with Pastor Charles Warger presiding. There will be a time of gathering in the funeral home chapel from 4:30PM 5:30PM.
