Obituary-Salem-Charles A. Stalnaker, 74, of Weston passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2010 in his daughters residence. He was born on February 11, 1936 in Clarksburg a son of the late Willis E. and Opal Gallian Stalnaker. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Katy Lou Flanigan Stalnaker.
He is also survived by two daughters, Ginny Ruble and husband, Arthur, Weston, Tina Lou Edwards and husband, Buck, Buckhannon, one son Lynn Stalnaker and wife, Shelly, Sutton, five grandsons, two granddaughters, four great grandsons and one great granddaughter.
Charles loved hunting, fishing and A.K.C. dog shows. In 2002 Charles and Katy exhibited the top winning Pomeranian female in the country. He was a member of the Auburn Baptist Church and retired from Carnegie Natural Gas with 39 1/2 years of service.
Funeral services will be held in the Harbert Funeral Home, 287 W. Main St., Salem on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at 1:00 PM with Reverend Don Flanigan officiating. Interment will follow in the K of P Memorial Park, Salem. Friends may call in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 from 4-8PM and on Wednesday from 10AM until time of service.
