Charles "Chuck" Eric Postlethwait

Charles "Chuck" Postlethwait, of Salem, age 72, went to be with the Lord, Friday, March 21, 2025, surrounded by his granddaughters. He was born Feb. 13, 1953, a son of the late Charles and Peggy Postlethwait. He is survived by a daughter, Kelly Skinner, Morgantown; granddaughters Brooklyn Barnes (Joe Swiger), Clarksburg and Mya Barnes, Good Hope; one great grandson, Tatum Swiger, Clarksburg. His extended family John and Becky Barnes of Good Hope, Tony and Lisa Casinelli of Salem, Jim Johnson, a longtime friend of Big Battle. In addition to his parents, Chuck was preceded in death by his son, Charles "Chuckie" Postlethwait. He was a graduate of Doddridge County High School. He enjoyed the outdoors, riding his Harley, and spreading the word of the Lord. Chuck was especially proud of his granddaughter and great grandson. His granddaughters would like to extend a special thank you to Tony and Lisa Casinelli and James Johnson for the care they provided for Chuck. They would also like to thank the many neighbors that looked after him and visited. A special thank you to WVU Hospice and staff. Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home - Salem, 1999 W. Main Street, Salem, on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 11AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00PM with Pastor Walter Rohrgacher officiating. Interment will follow at Big Battle Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his Care Fund on his memorial page.
