Charlotte Marie Pearson, 67, of Salem, passed away on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at her daughters’ home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 14, 1958, in Cedar City, Utah, a cherished daughter of the late Tommie Hayden and Mary Jaylene Mathews Coffman.
Charlotte was an artist at heart. From a young age, she found joy and peace in painting and drawing, often expressing her love for life, nature, and family through her artwork. Her creativity was a constant thread throughout her life, and she delighted in sharing her art with those she loved. Whether sketching quietly or painting vibrant scenes, Charlotte poured her heart into every piece she created.
She graduated from Foothill High School in Bakersfield, California, and later built a dedicated career at Merit Medical, where she retired as a manager in the manufacturing plant after more than 22 years of service. Outside of work, Charlotte embraced life fully—traveling, spending treasured time with family and friends, collecting gnomes, and, above all, creating art that reflected her gentle spirit and imagination. Charlotte had a great sense of humor and delighted in making others laugh, never missing a chance to be silly and spread joy.
She leaves behind her daughter, Brandie Garner (Greg) of Salem; daughter-in-law, Taylor Pearson (Weston Roberts) of Milford, Utah; eight grandchildren, Alex Garner (Sarah), Marcky Roland (Clancy), Hayden Delaney, Shelby Garner, Derek Delaney (Madison), Adyson Garner, Talan Pearson, and Ryatt Roberts; and seven great-grandchildren, Russell, Lizzie, Austin, Penelope, Sunny, Fletcher, and Rowyn, all of whom were sources of endless inspiration and love in her life.
In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Randall O’Reilley, and her son, Tommie Scott “Taz” Pearson.
A Celebration of Charlotte’s Life will be held this summer, where family and friends will gather to honor her memory, her creativity, and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.
