Charlotte L. Spring, 58, of Salem passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2013 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.
She was born April 15, 1955 in Clarksburg, a daughter of the late Harry and Lorena Dell Bane Lyons. On August 30, 1980 she married Alfred "Tom" Spring who survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Donna S. Spring, St. Charles, MO.; four sons, Thomas Christopher Spring, Salem, Christopher Davis and wife, Greta, Bridgeport, Jason Reed Spring and wife, Leigh Ann, Clarksburg, and Curtis Lee Davis and wife Lori, Martinsburg; one sister, Josetta Harris, Newton Falls, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; a special niece, Cara Prather, Reynoldsburg; and nephew, Clay Harris, Dripping Springs, TX.
Charlotte was an accounts receivable clerk for 11 years for Matthew Lubricants. She was a 1973 graduate of Bristol High School. She enjoyed driving with her husband in the mountains and by the Ohio River and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Charlotte was a member of the Enon Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family.
A memorial service will be conducted in the Harbert Funeral Home, 287 W. Main St., Salem at 7:30PM on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 with Rev. Paul Boyles and Rev. Mike Stephens officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 7PM until time of service on Tuesday.
