Cheryl Christine Groves

Cheryl Christine Groves, 73, of Salem, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at her home.  She was born on October 19, 1951 in Clarksburg, a daughter of the late Orval Wayne Groves and Pauline Yeater Groves.

She is survived by her sister, Schicketha Smith and husband Byron of Warren, OH; one nephew, Robert Smith of GA; one niece, Miranda Smith of OH: and one great nephew, Wesley.

Cheryl was a 1969 graduate of Doddridge High School and she was employed as a glass maker at Anchor Hocking and then also worked for Shepherd of the Valley Nursing Home in Niles, OH.  She was a kindhearted lady and was always nice to anyone she met.  She enjoyed watching movies and playing games on her Iphone.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Debbie and her son David who would often check in on her.
