Obituary
Clara May Williams, 91, of Salem passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at her residence. She was born August 13, 1932 in Simpson, WV, daughter of the late Frank and Bessie Collins Billy.
Clara worked in a factory and retail for several years. She enjoyed reading, sewing, painting, going to the Senior Citizens for Bingo and she loved spending time with her family.
Clara is survived by her four children, Edward Jones and Willa Jo, Philippi, Roger Jones and Susie, Volga, Pam White and Bob, Salem, Shannon Jones, Salem; ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one sister, Jenny Hosey, Ocala, FL; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Clara is preceded in death by her husband James Lowell Williams; brothers and sisters, James Billey, Frank Billy, Dorthy Ford and Sue Hanson.
Per her wishes, she will be cremated.
