Dale Joan Miley

Dale Joan Miley 83 of Salem departed this life on Sunday March 18, 2012 in the United Hospital Center. She was born on March 24, 1928 a daughter of the late Howard and Effie Keister ZanDevender. Twice married she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Arthur Davis and her second husband, Frank B. Miley.

Surviving are one son, James Arthur Davis Jr. and companion Donna Freeland, Steubenville, OH, one daughter, Darlene Sue Hayes and husband Harold, Salem, grandchildren, Scott Davis and wife Emily, Frank Davis and wife Becky, Dusty Davis and wife Lil, Loretta Lynn Baldwin and husband Daniel, Harold Lee Hayes Jr. and wife Angie, Jamie Joan Barnes and companion, Joey Moore, Tabitha Nicole Hayes, great grandchildren, Christopher and Dyllon Hayes, Alyssa and Joseph Barnes, Chris, Cory, Dustin, Nick, Megan, Jacob, Frankie, Michael and Matthew, two nieces, Sandra Gaston and Judy Tredision, both of Lost Creek and her loving pet dog, Ashley.. Three sisters, Christina Bradley, Gertrude Goslin, Pat Judd and three brothers, Arnett, Ted and George Shears preceded her in death.

Mrs. Miley was retired from Knouse Foods Inc. as an assembly line worker with 25 years service. She had attended Crimson River Church, Long Run Community.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Harbert Funeral Home 287 W. Main St. Salem, on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jon Hayes presiding. Interment will follow in the Wolverton Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 from 4-8 PM and after 9AM on Wednesday until time of service.
