Danny Dee Clark, 57 of Salem passed away on Friday, November 8, 2024. He was born September 4, 1967 in Akron, OH, son of Charles Gerard Clark and Bonne Lee Springston Clark. He was retired from the United State Army doing two tours during Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom. He was working as a truck driver for Beverage Distributors. Danny enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, riding his Harley, and singing Karaoke. He was a member and Post Commander at the Sperry-Davis VFW Post 9151.
Danny is survived by his wife, Etta Sue Carr Clark whom he married on June 11, 2011; children, Candy Clark, Weston, WV, Jerry Dukes and Leslie, Horner, WV; four grandchildren, Mykaila Cutright and Noah, Maddisyn Dukes, Koltin Knight and Nathan Knight; two great grandchildren, Ezra and Etta; one sister, Diane Snyder and Gene, Clarksburg; several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home in Salem, WV, on Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 1PM-5 PM, and Monday, November 18, 2024 from 11:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 PM with Pastor Mike Allen officiating. Interment will be at WV National Cemetery with full military honors accorded by the WV Army Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his Care Fund on his memorial page.
