Danny R. Flanagan

Danny R. Flanagan, 60 of Rt. 1 Salem departed this life on Friday, March 12, 2010 in the United Hospital Center following an extended illness.

He was born on October 11, 1949 in Clarksburg a son of Betty E. Muhlheim Flanagan, Salem and the late Michael C. Flanagan.


Surviving is his wife, Sherry G. Adams Flanagan, one sister, Cathy I. Moore and husband Russell, Salem, one sister-in-law, Mary Beth Flanagan, Salem, three grandchildren, Bryant Tyler Flanagan, Taylor Janell Flanagan and Isaiah Drake Flanagan, 10 nieces and nephews.

One son Joseph Daniel Flanagan, one sister, Sherry Flanagan and two brothers, Michael W. and Jimmy D. Flanagan preceded him in death.

Danny was a salesman for Flanagan Ford Auto Sales and later owned and operated Salem Auto Sales. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and sports. Danny was a loving husband, father and grandfather; he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and will be sadly missed.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 in the Harbert Funeral Home 287 W. Main St. Salem at 2:00PM with Pastor Paul Boyles presiding. Interment will follow in the K of P Memorial Park, Salem. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home chapel on Monday, March 15th from 2-8 PM and after 9AM on Tuesday until time of service.
