Obituary
David Allen Davis, 76, of Miletus, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 in Bridgeport at United Hospital Center. He was born on May 17, 1947 in Doddridge County, a son of the late Charles Davis and Madeline Williams Davis.
He is survived by his daughter, Lahoma Ash of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchildren, Sierra Ash, Destiny Ash and Bethany Ash Frame and her husband Stevie; great grandchildren, Keegan Davis, Zander Davis, James Lattea, Amelia Lattea and Rylee Benton; brother, Gary Davis and sister, Linda Boring; his former spouse, Alice Davis; stepson and his wife, Robert Delaney and Jennifer; his long-time companion, Judy Fry; stepsons and stepdaughters, Jennifer Fry, Jason Fry and Jerry Fry; step grandchildren, Zach and Brittany Montgomery, Jaylen and JT Fry and Alexis, Isaiah, Alex Fry, Kristin Fry and Zach Fry.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Charles Davis; his son-in-law Donald Willis Ash and his stepson, Jamie Ray Fry; step grandson, Andrew Fry.
David was a glass worker and truck driver for many years and he enjoyed Stock Car Racing, hunting, fishing, camping and being outdoors.
