David Wayne Bland

David Wayne Bland, 67 of Salem passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at United Hospital Center. He was born July 7, 1957 in Clarksburg, the son of the late Clarence David and Woodbee Marie Bennett Bland.

David worked as a Truck Driver for many years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and working on cars.

David is survived by his two children, Jamie Lowther, Clarksburg, David Wayne Bland II, Clarksburg; five grandchildren, Jayden Nicholas, Devin Bland, Cody Davis, Lillyan Denman, and Paige Denman; siblings, Roger Bland (Kathy) Salem, James “Joby” Bland (Sharon) OH, Nancy Drainer (Marlo) Stonewood; several nieces and nephews.   

In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his son, Nicholas Paul Bland; siblings, Johnny Bland, Buck Bland, Jack Bennett, Tom Bennett, Sandra Swiger and Shirrell Diltz; son-in-law, Daniel Denman.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home - Salem, 1999 W. Main Street, Salem, on Sunday, September 15, 2024 from 2:00PM – 4:00PM to Celebrate David’s Life.  Davis Funeral Home - Salem is handling the cremation and is honored to assist the Bland family.
