David Charles Davis

David Charles Davis, 80, of Salem passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024, at the Clarksburg Healthcare Center with family by his side. He was born on July 12, 1944, in Doddridge County, WV, son of the Charles Dee and Dora Violet Kelley Davis.

David graduated from Bristol High School. He retired from Central Supply Company as a truck driver. He enjoyed woodworking, camping, being outdoors, and loved WWE wrestling. David was a member of Wolf Summit Wesleyan Methodist Church.

David is survived by his wife of 59 years, Linda Lou Davis, whom he married on October 31, 1964; his son, David Lynn Davis and wife Laura of Clarksburg; one granddaughter, Hannah Elizabeth Davis of Clarksburg.

In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his daughter Christina “Tina” Renae Davis Squires and husband Richard  “Dickie”.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home - Salem, 1999 W. Main Street, Salem, on Friday, September 6, 2024 from 11:00AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00PM with Pastor Dan Cope officiating.
