David Oris Stamm, 57, of Clarksburg departed this life on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 in his residence. He was born on March 27, 1955 in Clarksburg a son of the late Robert O. and Phyllis J. Mullens Stamm.
Surviving are three sons, Shawn Stamm, Morgantown, David Stamm, Pennsboro, Gideon Stamm, Seattle, WA, five grandsons, Ellias, Brian, Christopher, Parker and Brandon, one sister, Wilda Brown, Virginia Beach, VA, two brothers, Don Stamm and Robert Stamm, both of Salem. One brother Jeffrey Stamm and one sister Denise Marie Stamm preceded him in death.
David had been employed at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center and had previously worked for Judel Glass in Salem. He was a veteran of the United Stated Marine Corps. David was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted in the Harbert Funeral Home, 287 W. Main St., Salem on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 11AM. Interment will follow in the WV National Cemetery, Grafton. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Monday, November 19, 2012 from 2-8PM.
