Dawn Elaine Wright

Dawn Elaine Wright, 67, of Salem passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at her residence. Dawn was born December 25, 1956 in Clarksburg, daughter of the late Howard Edwin and Geraldine Ruth Boggs Wright.

Dawn graduated from Doddridge County High School, Class of 1975. She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, gardening and flowers, hunting ramps and mushrooms. Her passion was crafts and her fur babies and Great Danes, Jessie and Ebony that have passed and her current Cash.

Dawn is survived by her companion of thirty-six years, John Hutchins Miller; his family, John Bryan Miller and Karen, Denver, NC, David Troy Miller, Prince Frederick, MD, Wendy Lee Rawlings and Rob, Prince Frederick, MD, and Christine Marie Miller, Lusby, MD; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; one sister, Gretchen Renee Wright Yeager and Robert, Jarvisville; nephew, Christopher Yeager; niece, Stephanie Wright Carpenter and Doug.   

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home - Salem, 1999 W. Main Street, Salem, on Monday, April 1, 2024 from 3-7PM and on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 9:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Bob Marino officiating.  Interment will follow at Boggs Cemetery in Normantown, Gilmer County.
