Donita “Ann” Campbell, 60, of Salem, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025 in Bridgeport. She was born on September 10, 1964 in Clarksburg, a daughter of the late Donald Baker and Juanita Dennison Baker.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Paul Campbell, whom she married on January 3, 1983.
She is also survived by four children, Paul Campbell, Jr., Cassandra Campbell, Amanda Baker and Isabella Campbell; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild; three siblings, Angela Campbell and husband Jeff, Michelle Robinson and husband Chuckie and Donald Baker, II.
Ann was a devoted caregiver and loving grandmother. Ann worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for over 30 years, dedicating her life to caring for others. Her career included time with Americare in Salem, service at a VA nursing home in Kentucky, and many years of providing compassionate care through in-home services. Quiet by nature, Ann's kindness, patience, and loving spirit touched the lives of those she cared for and those who knew her best. She found joy in simple pleasures—crafting with her husband, creating handmade treasures, and spending cherished time with her grandchildren. Ann’s gentle heart, creative spirit, and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ann’s CareFund on her funeral page.
