Dorothy Jean Scott

Dorothy Jean Scott, 77 of Salem departed this life on Saturday, November 28, 2015 in the United Hospital Center, Bridgeport. She was born on February 20, 1938 in Warren, OH a daughter of the late Glenn Booth Sr. and Hertha Michalski Booth.

Surviving are four daughters, Randi Bowen and husband Boyd, West Union, Mindy Scott, Buckhannon, Jane Weekley, Salem, Darla Potts and husband Mike, Salem, two sons, Mark Scott and wife Melissa, Manassas, VA, Darwin "Butch" Scott, Catlett, VA, nineteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren, half sister, Evelyn J. Comadoll, Lancaster, TX, former daughter-in-law and special friend Donita Rosario Youngstown, OH. She was preceded in death by three sons, James Martin Scott, Phillip Duane Scott, Faron Lane Scott and one brother, Glenn Booth Jr.

Mrs. Scott had worked for Moore's Restaurant and the Heart of Town Restaurant for many years as a waitress. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

The family will receive friends in the Harbert Funeral Home on Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 12 noon to 5PM. Harbert Funeral Home is privileged to serve the Scott family.
