Elizabeth "Betsy" Moore

Elizabeth "Betsy" Moore, 65, of Salem, W.Va. departed this life on Friday, November 7, 2014 at her home.

She was born October 11, 1949 in Clarksburg, W.Va., a daughter of Doris Mullens Moore of Salem and the late Billy Moore.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by one sister, Melinda Stevens and husband, Kenneth, of Salem; a nephew, Edward Lewis; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.


In addition to her father, one nephew, Adam Moore, preceded her in death.

Betsy lived her life caring for others and enjoyed watching TV and caring for her cats. She had attended the Salem Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Harbert Funeral Home, 287 W. Main Street, Salem on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 1:00PM with Pastor Dave Carpenter presiding. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Monday, November 10, 2014 from 4-8PM.
