Ellsworth R Cork, 79 of Salem passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, February 13, 2025. He was born on December 26, 1945 in Clarksburg, son of the late Denzil Cork Sr and Wilma Smith Cork. Ellsworth lived up Elkhorn most of his life. He enjoyed going camping and spending time with his family. Ellsworth worked as a glassworker at Salem Glass, Judel Glass, and Louie Glass for over thirty years. He enjoyed Square Dance Calling and spending time with his family. Ellsworth is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Patricia Barr Cork whom he married on September 24, 1967; three children, Licia Minor and husband Charles, Salem, Patsy Cork, Salem, Ellsworth J Cork (Stacey Wright), Shirley; nine grandchildren, Christine, Justin, William, Shane, Holly, Monica, Brooke, Torie, and Dakota; seventeen great grandchildren; siblings, Bonnie Cavins, Salem, Beatrice Ashcraft and Grover, Doylestown, OH, Cynthia Doll, Alma, Francis Cork and Kathy, Clifford Cork all of Salem; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Ellsworth was preceded in death by siblings, Mildred Cork, Rebecca Truax, Sharon Hutson, Kenneth Cork, Denzil Cork Jr. and Burties Cork. Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home - Salem, 1999 W. Main Street, Salem, on Sunday, February 16, 2025 from 5-9pm and on Monday, February 17, 2025 at Vermont Baptist Church, Skelton Run Road, Salem from 10:00am until time of Funeral Service at 11:00am with Pastor Chad Ash officiating.
