Ervin Floyd Glaspell

Ervin Floyd Glaspell, 84 of Sedalia, WV passed away at Camden Clark Medical Center on Thursday, June 12, 2025. He was born on December 27, 1940 in Center Point, WV son of the late Willis Floyd Glaspell and Zelma Gladys Chipps Glaspell Underwood. Ervin worked at Glaspell Lumber Company, Eldora Speedway and Underwood Dozer and Roustabout. He enjoyed fishing, and loved spending time with his family. He was a member of Cascara United Methodist Church, and attended Church of Christ in Parkersburg and Open-Door Tabernacle. Ervin is survived by his five siblings, Juanita Burger, Peoria, IL, Virginia McHenry, Parkersburg, Glady Wysocki (Paul), Lafferty, OH, Keith Underwood (Denise) Clarksburg, Debbie Parsons (Mark), West Union; and several nieces and nephews he adored. In addition to his parents, Ervin was preceded in death by siblings, Billie Jean Glaspell, Charlotte McClung, and Viola Glaspell; one nephew, Corporal Jason N Marchand; one niece, Melissa McClung.  Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home - Salem, 1999 W. Main Street, Salem, on Monday, June 16, 2025 from 10 AM until time of the Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Randy Plaugher officiating. Interment will follow at Center Point Cemetery.
