Evelyn Sue Greaver

Evelyn Sue Greaver, 73 of High St. Salem departed this life on Friday, August 21, 2015 in her residence. She was born on June 22, 1942 in Salem a daughter of the late James Joshua Hurst and Ada Virginia Dennison Hurst Morgan.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews and a special friend Tammy Chipps. Three sisters, Mary Ellen Hurst Snider, Dorothy Hutchinson, Wilda Modesett and two brothers, Raymond Hurst and Robert Hurst preceded her in death.

Evelyn had been a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Harbert Funeral Home 287 W. Main St. Salem on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 2:00PM with Pastor Denver Burnside officiating. Interment will follow in the Shahan Cemetery, Flinderation. Friends will be received in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday after 12Noon until time of service.
