Frances Kay Davis, 65 of Pride St. Salem departed this life on Friday, January 1, 2010 in her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on October 11, 1944 in Harrison County a daughter of the late Jerry and Tencie Ash Davis. On October 14, 1960 she married Fred Davis who survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Sandra Casto, Salem, Linda Bowen and husband James, Greenbrier, Lisa Davis, Salem, five grandchildren, Cassandra Casto Molina, James Dempsey Bowen, Kayla Casto, Christopher Bowen and Natasha Davis, one sister, Joann Blosser, Clarksburg, one brother, Carl Davis, Salem, and several nieces and nephews. Three sisters, Betty Chipps, Mary Ann Ayers and Dorothy Ann Davis, two brothers, Darvin and Jerry Davis preceded her in death.
Mrs. Davis enjoyed camping and spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at 1:00PM in the Harbert Funeral Home 287 W. Main St. Salem with Pastor Randy Landes officiating. Interment will follow in the Salem I.O.O.F. Memorial Park. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home chapel on Monday, January 4, 2010 from 2-4 & 6-8PM and after 9AM Tuesday until time of service.
