Frederick Raymond Cossitt, 61, of Reynoldsville passed away Friday, November 14, 2008 in the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center, Clarksburg. He was born November 24, 1946 in Oneida, NY a son of the late Bernard Raymond and Adelaide Margaret Lombard Cossitt.
Surviving are his wife, Wilma Jean Pritt Cossitt, Reynoldsville, his daughter, Angelcque Marie Cossitt (Schultz), Reynoldsville,his sons, Frederick Raymond Cossitt(McElyea), Joplin, MO, David James Cossitt (McElyea), Festus, MO, Billy Jack Cossitt (McElyea), Herculaneum, MO, Brandon Lee Cossitt (Shippman), Howell, MI, Raymond Ward Cossitt (Schultz), Waterford, MI, Michael Brett Cossitt, Clarksburg, 11 grandchildren, sister, Bonnie Dixon, Cazenovia, NY and brother, Ted Cossitt, Chattanooga, TN.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Samantha McElyea.
Mr. Cossitt was a 101st Army Airborne Vietnam veteran serving three consecutive tours in 1967-1968.
