George Michael Mayle, Sr., 66, of Randolph Street, Salem, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at the Salem Center in Salem, WV. He was born on September 8, 1944 in Doddridge County, son of the late Volen and Edna Smith Mayle.

He worked as a glassworker at Judel Glass Factory for many years. George will be fondly remembered for sharing the music of his Sunshine Fellowship, where he was a singer, songwriter, and musician.

George is survived by two sons George Michael “Mikey” Mayle, Jr. and fiancé Heather Nicholson of Salem and Louis “Louie” Andrew Mayle of Salem; and one brother, James Mayle of Charleston, WV.

In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by one daughter Kathy Mayle Murphy and a brother John Mayle both of Salem, WV.
