Grace Mae Baker, 86, of Randolph St., Salem departed this life on January 7, 2013 in her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on May 27, 1926 in Doddridge County, a daughter of the late William and Laura Seese Moore. Her husband Robert Baker preceded her in death.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Five brothers, Charles, Clyde, William and Clarence Moore, four sisters, Sarah Ramage, Hazel Shinn, Opal Newlon, Lillian Berkhouse and Ruth Sayer preceded her in death. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Mrs. Baker had worked for Salem Glass and Harvey Industries as a decorator. She attended Full Gospel Worship Center, Clarksburg.
The family wishes to acknowledge the expressions of kindness to Grace and who attended to her in her time of need.
Funeral services were conducted in the Harbert Funeral Home, 287 W. Main St., Salem on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Timothy Maxwell presiding. Interment followed in the K of P Memorial Park. The family received friends in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday January 9, 2013 from 4-8 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Harrison County Humane Society.
