Harlin Blaine Yeager

Harlin Blaine Yeager, 87, passed away at home in the early morning of December 23rd, 2022 after fighting a long battle with cancer. He was born October 21, 1935, in Harrison County, son of Jesse Wade and Hazel (Greynolds) Yeager. Blaine graduated from Bristol High School, Class of 1954. Following graduation, he met the love of his life, Dorothy Ann Kuzniar, and got married. He worked for many decades as a West Virginia coal miner, mechanic, machinist to support his family. Blaine was a pillar in his community with the kindest heart and most giving soul. 

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy (Kuzniar) Yeager, his daughter, Robin (Yeager) Murphy, and his son Brian Allen Yeager. Surviving are his son, Robert Yeager and his wife, Gretchen, of Jarvisville; daughters, Carrie Lambert and her husband, Craig, of Nitro, WV, and Holly Yeager of Reston, VA; and 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home - Salem, 1999 W. Main Street, Salem, on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 2-7PM. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 12:00 PM with Pastor Robert Marino officiating. Interment will follow at Jarvisville Baptist Cemetery.
