Jackie Lee Edgell

Jackie Lee Edgell, 54, of Center Point departed this life on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at his parent's home where he had resided for the last three years. He was born on June 15, 1960 in Wheeling a son of Archie and Frances Hutson Edgell.

Jackie is survived by his wife, Debbie Simons Edgell, son Nelson Edgell, twin grandsons, Trevor and Austin, who were the joy of his life. He is also survived by four siblings, sister, Kathy Drain and husband Danny, Shinnston, brothers, Steve Edgell and wife Amanda, Phillipi, Daniel and David Edgell, both of Center Point, special nephew, J.D. Edgell and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Jackie was preceded in death by a son, Patrick Blake .

Jackie was self-employed as a lumberjack and trucker driver. He enjoyed camping, fishing, Hunting and playing with his grandsons. He also liked to sit on the big, cool porch and watch the squirrels play on the board fence. Jackie will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

We would like say a special thank you to Dr. James DeMarco, and all Jackie's caregivers and friends at dialysis. We would so like to express our gratitude to the emergency squads who assisted Jackie.

Graveside services will be conducted at Center Point Christian Church Cemetery on July 28, 2014 at 1PM.
