Jacqueline "Jackie" Dawn Cody

Jacqueline “Jackie” Dawn Cody, 52, of Salem, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024 in Bridgeport at United Hospital Center.  She was born on December 6, 1971 in Clarksburg, a daughter of Ellen Doreen Swiger Cox of Salem and the late Richard Ralph Cox.

Jackie was a graduate of Liberty High School, class of 1989.  She was a caring person who enjoyed life and animals, especially cats.  She also enjoyed watching birds and taking care of her flowers.

She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Ursel Yeater and husband Rexall of Center Point, Lola Davis and husband Delbert of Salem, Thurmond Cox and wife Connie of Salem and Richard Cox and wife Judeen of Buckhannon; husband, Allen J Cody; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Anthony Cody.
