James D. Robison, 49 of Salem passed away clean and would want everyone that is struggling to know that there is HOPE. He passed on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Garrett Regional Medical Center in Oakland, MD. He was born June 23, 1971 in Clarksburg, son of the late Edward Jack and Judy Ann Robison. James worked several years on the pipeline and had previously worked for Ronald Lane, Inc and last worked at the Gabes Warehouse as a supervisor in Morgantown. He enjoyed fishing, doing stained glass, playing disc golf, watching Game of Thrones and Sons of Anarchy. On March 25, 2019 James walked into Horizons Salem Celebrate Recovery for a hot meal. What he found was so much more. That day he dedicated his lifetime to Christ. James found hope thru Celebrate Recovery. He attended Sunday morning services whenever he could and later got baptized during a Monday night Celebrate Recovery meeting. James was truly loved by all at Horizons Salem Celebrate Recovery and will be dearly missed. James’s story touched many lives and brought others to recovery. James is survived by his sister, Sue A Robison of Salem; niece, Ashley S Pratt, Morgantown; nephew, Boyd O Pratt III, Salem; his four-legged companion and best friend, Axel; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home and Crematory, Salem, 1999 W. Main Street, Salem, on Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 12 noon until 5:00PM. Family request everyone wear mask or face covering and social distance.
