James "Jim" Walter Todd, Sr.

James “Jim” Walter Todd Sr, 72 of Salem passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at his residence with family by his side. Jim was born February 3, 1953, in Reynoldsville, son of the late Judd Jones and Betty Lou Todd Nice.

Jim is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patricia Rose Kirkpatrick Todd whom he married on May 29, 1971; two children, Jamie Anne Todd, Salem, James “Jake” W Todd Jr and wife Alessia, Lost Creek; son-in-law, Robert “Bob” Anderson Trott III; like a son-in-law, Chad Proffer, Clarksburg; five grandchildren, Amy Lynne Trott and companion, Ryan Sherrard, Robert “Bobby” Anderson Trott IV, Gage Logan Todd, Kelsey Todd and Samara Dawn Proffer; one brother, Judd Todd, Shinnston; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jim is preceded in death by two daughters, Leslie Lynn Trott and Carrie Joann Hickman; two brothers, George Todd and Edmond Todd.  

Jim worked as a mechanic for Al Schroath Oldsmobile and Subaru for many years. His hobbies were anything cars from working on them, collecting them and selling them. He was even on Facebook Marketplace looking for anything car deals. He also enjoyed hunting, watching TV and loved spending time with the family. 

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home - Salem, 1999 W. Main Street, Salem, on Sunday, February 23, 2025 from 1:00PM until the time of the Funeral Service at 5:00PM with Pastor Todd Syruws officiating.
