James "Jimmy" Rexrode Obituary

James “Jimmy” Darris Rexrode, 76 of Salem passed away on Friday, September 9, 2022 at Salem Center. He was born August 1, 1946 in Clarksburg, son of the late Joseph Earl and Alice Florence Lantz Rexrode.

Jimmy was a coal miner and then later retired as a laborer at Precision Coil. He enjoyed fishing, old classic cars, shining the cars up especially his old Blue and White Cadillac.

Jimmy is survived by his two daughters, Michelle Lynn Criss and Alice Dawn Sayers, Clarksburg; one sister, Polly Wilfong, Salem; six grandchildren, Amber, Chris, Ashley, Cody, Katlyn, and Kaden; ____ great grandchildren, Riviera, Braylen, Zander, Jaxson, Axton, Maddox, Anniyah, Saphira, Athena, Ryker, and one on the way; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by two sons, Joseph Bennie Rexrode and William Rexrode; one sister, Wilma J Kacinec; four brothers, Raymond, Donald, Charles and Robert Rexrode.
