James "Knuck" Dewayne Eddy Sr

James “Knuck” Dewayne Eddy Sr. 76, of Salem, WV passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at his residence with family by his side. He was born October 27, 1946 in Harrisville, son of the late James Arthur Eddy and Sylvia Delores Dotson Eddy.

Knuck worked at Tiffany and Judel Glass in Salem for many years. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. His love was his family and spending time with them.

Knuck is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Judith “Judy” Ann Burbridge Eddy whom he married on October 24, 1969; two children, James Dewayne Eddy Jr and Melissa, Robert Eugene Eddy all of Salem; five grandchildren, Chelsea B Eddy, Dylan H Eddy, Cameron C Eddy, Trentin R Eddy and Aiden C Eddy; one great granddaughter, Cambria R Chambers; three brothers, Wade Eddy and Debbie, Wayne Eddy and Nina, Gary Eddy and Joyce all of Salem; two sisters-in-law, Debbie and Beverly; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Knuck is preceded in death by one sister, Delores Ferrell; two brothers, Daniel Eddy and Michael Eddy.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home - Salem, 1999 W. Main Street, Salem, on Sunday, October 8, 2023 from 1:00-5:00 PM and on Monday, October 9, 2023 from 9:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM with Rev Kenny Lloyd officiating.  Interment will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery.
