Kasey Leigh Burke, 29, of Clarksburg passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024. Kasey was born on May 17, 1995 in Morgantown, daughter of Lisa Dawn Kellar and the late Max Allen Burke Jr.
Kasey attended High School in Fairmont. She worked previously as a manager at Boost Mobile, and recently as cashier for Price Cutter & Exxon. She enjoyed crafting, drawing, going to festivals, and loved spending time with her children and family. Kasey was a bright light, and a beautiful, loyal & caring soul.
In addition to her mother, Kasey is survived by her two sons, Asher Lee and Zedekiah James Watson; one sister and brother-in-law, Ashley and Larry Henderson; three nephews, Derek, Isaiah, and Michael Henderson; stepmom, Cheryl Marple-Burke; and two stepbrothers, Travis and Josh Wilfong; a special aunt, Anita Rosser; cousins, Daniel Starsick, Bethany Henderson, Dustin Starsick Jessica Chiniewicz, and Anthony Rosser; uncle, Jim Johnson; cousins, Chris and Jason Johnson; a dear aunt, Cathi Burke Tyson; cousins, Erica Fleming , Max Fleming, and Julie Tyson; and several other uncles, aunts, and cousins. Kasey also had many friends with whom she shared treasured memories.
In addition to her father, Kasey was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Doyle McClellan Kellar and Eva Marie Kerns Kellar; paternal grandparents, Max Allen Burke, Sr. and Janet Lee Henderson Burke; maternal uncle, Doyle M. Kellar, Jr., maternal aunt, Viki Sue Johnson, and maternal uncle, Mike Rosser.
Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home-Salem, 1999 W. Main Street on Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 3:00 PM until the time of the Celebration of Life Service at 5:00PM with Pastor Adam Cheeseman officiating.
