Kevin Leon Chipps

Kevin L. Chipps, 53 of Long Run Rd. Salem departed this life on Monday, March 31, 2014 at his residence. He was born on March 5, 1961 in Clarksburg a son of the late Roscoe B. and Gay Marie Fox Chipps.

Surviving is two sons, David Chipps and companion Shawnette, Salem, Michael Chipps, all of Salem, the mother of his children, Crystal Davis, Salem, granddaughter, Tayah Kelley, two sisters, Bernadine Rhodes and husband Larry, Wapakoneta, OH, Teresa Chipps, Clarksburg, three brothers, Perry Chipps and wife Tammy, West Union, Richard Chipps, Salem, Craig Chipps, Clarksburg and several nieces and nephews. One brother Bradely Chipps preceded him in death.

Mr. Chipps was employed by Nicholson Auto as a Tow Truck Driver. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes and working on cars. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Harbert Funeral Home 287 W. Main St. Salem on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 2:00PM with Pastor Kenny Lloyd presiding. Interment will follow in the K of P Memorial Park, Salem. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, April 3, 2014 after 11AM until time of service.
